| Wow I needed to update!! I hope everyone is doing good.....it's getting cold out here in Michigan:(.....hmmmm...welll.... I guess I can tell ya'll about the absolutely AMAZING time that I had down in Nashville TN!;) Laura Hawkins, Amanda and I decided one day that since we all love the SOUTH and needed to get out of Spring Arbor...that we should hit the road and drive to Nashville. With the little money that we all had, we decided to do it for fall break! Wow, it was just incredible, staying with Caleb and Ag....going downtown to Wildhorse Saloon and seeing the Grand Opray Hotel was only some of the highlights of the trip! ....I loved this church we visited...and it was actually Phil Joel's church! The Holy Spirit was totally present! Being able to hear the Lord's voice so clearly this weekend totally blessed me!! Just gotta listen more sometimes I guess....I also loved being able to see other people that I don't even know so crazy in love with Jesus!!!! ahhhh...blessed me so much!! Praise the Lord for an amazing relaxing weekend.!!!

| It's such a beautiful day out here in Spring Arbor:) 85 degree day brings absolute joy to my heart!! Right now I am sitting in the library just working on some homework....and trying not to think of the horrid memory that just occurred about 10 minutes ago. Ok, so I woke up this morning thinking that I should wear something cute (because it IS my birthday) so I put on my cute lil pink skirt with a yellow top. I thought it's such a nice day to wear a skirt, but I did not realize how windy it was out. So I was walking into the library and doing fine with the whole wind and skirt thing, until right as I was entering the library....BOOm there was a gush of air and my skirt went flying-----the worst part there was a guy right behind me that saw it allllll!It was horrible--HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!! | | |
| ahhhh...Being home always brings joy to my heart. Spending time
the family, having time to just RELAX, and having time to do things
that I have always wanted to do but just never had the time
to...example--learn to play the guitar!! Yah thats right I have
been picking up that six string instrument and actually strumming to
some tunes:) All props to my brother for teaching me!
Sometimes it gets boring around here, wait let me rephrase that
A LOT of the times it is just so boring, but then there are those
special people that just have that way to make me so happy and brighten
up the day. I love it when someone can make me laugh til I cry
and do that not just once but alll night!...I also love to just be with
people that love music as much as I do. We can just drive around in my
car and scream to amazing tunes and never get bored!;)........ahhh I'm
just taking it all in tonight!

| I haven't been so physically and spiritually tested like I have this summer in a long time. Praise the Lord for God's grace!--It's so amazing to see the Lord's hand on everything that has gone on this summer! In all honesty, I haven't cried as much as I have this summer! It's so frustrating sometimes! Today I told my dad..."I wonder what the Lord is preparing me for because this summer has been the most testing time ever."
And the wise man that my dad is said, " You will never know because if you did then you would never learn how to walk on water." How cool to think...that the Lord is taking me to that point!---So, I got one more full week of summer camp and then it will be a lot less stressful at KC!!!

| I don't get to get on here very much! So this will probably be the last post I do in a while. I have been working at this pretty crazy camp for the last month. It is definitely different then what I thought it would be! I totally see the Lord's hand upon it though and that gives me strength every day! Just pray for me though--some days here are the hardest ones!
I can't wait til August--time to chill and maybe go on vacation?!?!?:)--love ya'll
